Mentoring & Wellbeing

One to one mentoring and wellbeing support delivered by experienced educators, trauma informed counsellors and psychology trained mentors.

Sometimes a young person has a lot going on in their life.
They may need more than learning support or a passion project.

They may need a trusted adult who can check in regularly, listen and provide guidance.

Our mentoring sessions provide a safe and supportive space where young people can talk openly and feel heard.

Sometimes this simply means having someone to check in with each week. At other times it may involve learning practical strategies to support emotional regulation, confidence and wellbeing.

During these sessions, the time together may look different each week. Sometimes it might involve journalling, reflecting on the highs and lows of the week, sharing a “brain dump” of thoughts or talking through challenges that feel overwhelming.

Other times it may involve exploring friendships, navigating puberty, discussing school stress or receiving gentle guidance and practical advice.

Above all, mentoring provides a friendly, calm and nurturing voice for young people. Our focus is always on supporting their wellbeing and helping them develop tools and strategies they can use in everyday life so they feel more confident, capable and supported as they grow.

Testimonials

Think Bright Education

Cristina has had such an amazing impact for our son. He sees her weekly and we’ve watched his confidence, stamina, self-management and emotional regulation grow in steady, meaningful ways.

She meets him exactly where he is. Her strategies are thoughtful and practical and she communicates with us clearly and consistently. He is currently working on a passion project with her, learning to code in Scratch and it’s been incredible to see how she uses his interests to build both skill and self-belief.

Cristina is kind, nurturing and incredibly knowledgeable about how to support his needs. We feel genuinely grateful to have her working with our son. We couldn’t recommend her more highly.
