After 15 years in education, I’m incredibly proud to launch Think Bright Education. Over the years, my journey as an educator and leader has been deeply shaped by both professional and personal experiences. A health scare shifted my perspective on life and wellbeing, while becoming a step-parent opened my eyes to the emotional, social, and academic complexities young people face beyond the classroom.

During COVID, I worked closely with students online, supporting them to stay engaged, motivated, and connected during uncertain times. Living overseas further deepened my understanding of the challenges families face when navigating homeschooling, flexible learning, and alternative education pathways.

At Melbourne Grammar School, Grimwade House, I spent six years teaching and leading student development, supporting young people to build confidence, empathy, and a sense of belonging. Later, as Program Manager at UNIQ You, I connected students with mentors to help them expand their view of future career pathways. Think Bright Education began with one student. By building trust and focusing on his interests, we were able to help him reconnect with learning. That experience reinforced what I had always believed—every child needs to feel seen, supported, and understood in order to thrive.

What started as a personal mission to support families in Victoria has now grown into something far greater.

Today, Think Bright Education supports families across Australia, including rural communities as well as in Indonesia and the United States. As we’ve grown, so has our team. We now work alongside highly experienced educators, mentors, trauma-informed counsellors, and consultants who share a deep commitment to supporting each child with care, empathy, and expertise.

My work goes beyond teaching. I see my role as a mentor, advocate, and trusted support for young people and their families.

I work with students navigating school refusal, learning challenges, and complex life circumstances, helping them rebuild confidence, re-engage with learning, and rediscover joy in their education.

Through a blend of evidence-based practice, creativity, and human connection, Think Bright Education exists to support every child to grow, thrive, and feel truly understood.
