From Storybooks to Creative Learning: Bringing Wellbeing to Life

I love supporting women in business, especially fellow mums and teachers creating thoughtful resources for children. 🫶🏼

I recently purchased Orlanda’s Animal Series: Mindful Mouse, Resilient Rhino and Grateful Goat. Written for ages 3–12, they explore mindfulness, resilience and gratitude through three lovely characters.

I also have the Brain Book Series, which I regularly use in my classroom and with the children we support and mentor at Think Bright Education. đź’›

Teaching Year 4 this year has been a lovely reminder of the opportunities literature gives us to explore wellbeing through conversations and creative activities. I shared one of these books with my girls last week, and today it got me thinking about the younger children joining our Think Bright Education holiday programs.

So, I got creative and designed some extra activities to bring the stories to life, from clay animals to our own journals! ✨

I love that the books also come with their own activities and tasks to lean on. They’re such a beautiful starting point for meaningful experiences where children can read, create, reflect and connect.

Thank you, Orlanda, for creating these lovely resources! đź’› Check them out here. https://lnkd.in/g9Bjz35n
